    A Sapo Sponge is a long, stretchy African exfoliating net that deep-cleans your skin and lasts for years. Just wet, add soap, scrub, rinse, and repeat!

  • Can I use the Sapo Sponge on sensitive skin?

    Yes! It’s gentle enough for daily use and tough enough to remove dead skin. For super sensitive skin, try pairing it with our Sensitive Skin Body Wash.

  • Is Liquid Black Soap good for acne?

    Liquid Black Soap removes dirt, oil, and dead skin that clog pores. Many customers with acne-prone skin love how fresh and clear their skin feels.

  • Are your Sapo Sponges authentic African net sponges?

    Yes! We sell authentic African Sapo Sponges made from 100% nylon. Real ones have visible woven knots and a stretchy, durable mesh that lasts for years. No imitations—just the original exfoliating powerhouse.

  • Do your products contain preservatives or artificial fragrances?

    Nope! We stick to natural oils, butters, clays, and essential oils. Your skin gets what it needs—and nothing it doesn’t.

  • What’s the best way to store my Shealoe Butter?

    Keep it cool and dry, away from direct heat or sunlight. It’s made without stabilizers, so it can melt in high temps but still works like a dream.

  • Are your products vegan or cruelty-free?

    Yes, most are vegan and all are cruelty-free. We never test on animals—just happy customers and some of my friends and family.

  • Do you make products for men too?

    Yes! Skincare is for everybody. Our Black Soap Paste, Sapo Sponge, and Unscented Smooth Body Cream are especially popular with male customers.

  • How long do your Handmade Soaps and Sugar Scrub Gels last?

    It depends on use, but most Handmade Soaps last 3-4 weeks with daily use. Sugar Scrub Gels typically last 6-8 full-body uses.

  • What’s the best product for dry, itchy skin?

    Our Creamy Shealoe Butter and Goat’s Milk Body Butter are ultra-hydrating—great for dry patches, elbows, knees, and everything in between.

  • What’s the difference between Shealoe Butter and Smooth Body Cream?

    Our Creamy Shealoe Butter is rich, thick, and made with shea butter + aloe vera—perfect for deep hydration and soothing dry, sensitive skin. It’s more solid and melts on contact.
